The Wrekin Cup holders Woore got through to Finals Day after beating Battlefield by 14. They won by just one at home, Steve Howe best winner, and by 13 away, Carol Matthews best winner 10. The team they beat in the final, Castlefields, beat Pontesbury by 20 chalks. They won by 22 at home, Michael Rogers best winner 9 and lost by 2 away, Alan Peach the winner there 11. St Georges beat Sir John Bayley by 15, winning by 20 at home, Roy Bradburn best winner 3, and lost by 5 away, Barry Gilder the winner there 20. Bylet were the other winners beating Trench by 26. At home they won by 11, Rob Renke best winner 7, and by 15 away, Claire Williams best winner 12.
The main final is on 23rd September at 11 a.m. at Old Shrewsbury, and the consolation final on 16th September at 11 a.m. at Wem BC.
