Midland Masters

The Midland Masters is a competition played for by the counties of Shropshire, Potteries & District, Staffordshire, North Midlands, Derbyshire and Warwick & Worcester since 1971. Each county has the same number of qualifiers if possible and take it in turns to host the finals of the event, which is held in September.

2026 Details:

The Midland Masters will not be ran this year because of its loss of BCGBA Champion of Champions status. The committee felt that entries would fall as a result so it would be best to look at regaining its status for next year and bringing it back then.

However, a Junior Midland Masters will be run instead this year by Rob Burroughs, with plans to make this an annual event.

This will be held at Newport Bowling Club on Saturday 19th September at 10 a.m. open to a maximum of 64 but looking at at least 32 juniors taking part.

Further details will be released soon.
