St Georges will look to retain the Wrekin Cup as they line up in the Semi Finals of this year’s Wrekin Cup tomorrow.
They take on the team they beat in last year’s final, Castlefields, on the no.1 hump green as they look to make it a double with the Mid Shropshire Senior Citizens League. Castlefields missed out on the Shrewsbury Senior Citizens league on matches won so will look to make up for that with success here. The other Semi Finals sees 2023 winners Woore play Bylet on the number 2 green, both having made last year’s Semi Finals. Woore are currently 2nd in the Market Drayton Senior Citizens League and Bylet finished 4th in the Mid Shropshire Senior Citizens League.
The action starts at 11 at the Bowring. They are doing food and the bar will be open so it be promises to be a great day of bowling!
