The 2nd round of the Wrekin Cup have now been completed, and it’s the same 4 teams through as last year! Holders St Georges are through, beating Wrockwardine Wood by 13, winning by 5 at home and 8 away. 2023 winners Woore are also through, beating Battlefield by 12 overall. They won by 24 at home and lost by 12 away. Castlefields have been runners up the last two years, and beat Pontesbury by 63, winning by 38 at home with a walkover, and by 25 away. Bylet complete the quartet after getting past Charlton by 18, winning by 14 at home and 4 away.
The four finalists for the main finals on Monday 22nd September at 11 are Bylet, Castlefields, St Georges & Woore.
The four finalists for the Consolation finals on Monday 15th September at 11 are Charlton, Pontesbury, Sir John Bayley & Wrockwardine Wood.
