Shropshire play in their 5th Crosfield Cup Final, and their fourth against Yorkshire since 1998. Yorkshire have won two of those, with our success coming in 2009 to add to our inaugural win in 1974. We have turned to Wem USC for the first time since 2017, when we beat Derbyshire by 50 on there, to try and win this competition for a 3rd time. Yorkshire are using Thornhill Cricket and Bowling Club for their home leg. We last met them in 2019 when we won by 5 overall with a 14 shot win on Newport. There is one change to the Semi Final win against Lancashire, with Dave Lloyd returning for Darren Wellings. There are some great clashes throughout both legs, with Mike Beer against Jack Dyson and Callum Wraight versus James Hanson looking like they will be classics, while Wayne Rogers will play Ian Booth, who will have some knowledge of the green from his time at Chester Road.
