It is all change for the Shropshire Juniors as they open up their 2022 Junior County Championship campaign. Team Manager Phil Scott confirms that “there are 15 debutants in the squad”, the biggest amount we’ve ever seen in a Junior squad for the county. We have three games this season against Wales, Yorkshire and their first opponents Staffordshire. We are using the Newport no.1 green for our home leg, while the away side travel to the big green at Short Heath Liberals. Our experienced juniors bookend both teams, with Joe and Tom Killen at home and Rhys Marshall and Camilla Parsonage away.
