The 2023 Senior Inter League has returned as an one day format with 6 teams looking to win the John Bowers trophy. The Premier League and Whitchurch teams will start as favourites given the quality of teams they possess, as well as the green knowledge the Whitchurch teams have. Market Drayton also have that green knowledge too, while the Mid Shropshire and Tanners teams name strong sides to try and break the monopoly the Premier League and Whitchurch Leagues have had since 2016.
There will be refreshments available as well as the bar open there.

The draw for the 2023 Shropshire Senior Inter League is as follows on Chester Road:
Group A (Ladies Green):
Whitchurch A
Mid Shropshire

Group B (Prem Green):

Market Drayton
It will start at 10.30 a.m. with the following fixtures:
Whitchurch A v Mid Shropshire
Whitchurch B v Premier League
Please could those teams arrive by 10.15 a.m.
Could the Tanners and Market Drayton teams arrive by 11.30 a.m. and both will have a 15 minute practice on their green before their first game.
The losers of the first games will play the other team in the group, followed by the winners playing them.
The two group winners will contest the final, with 4 on each green, the order of each green determined by the toss of a jack.
