The teams are out for our first Senior County game against North Midlands on Sunday 7th May. We are using Newport as our home venue, while North Midlands are using Atherstone Cons, where they picked up a 57 shot win over Wales last season. We used Newport in our first game against South Yorkshire last season and won by 48 on there. There are four changes from last year’s final. In come the debutants Steve Broome and Dan Taylor from the Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowling League Champions Wrockwardine Wood, and Mike Gilpin of Hanmer, rewarded for finishing 3rd in the League Averages last season. The other change is Callum Wraight returning to the side after injury ruled him out of the final last year. There are a couple of new names on the reserve list in Colin Smith and Mike Wainwright.
