Mike Beer reached the Quarter Finals of the Midland Masters to be the best of our 16 qualifiers. He had beaten Jayne Bates 1, Barry Booth 11, Nick Wyer 9 and then lost out to Lee Brown 8 at a very wet Florence. Nick had got past Richard Eley 7 and Shane Day 18 to reach the last 16. Stuart Rutter also reached the last 16, beating Martin Davies 6 and Bill Kinchin 15 but lost out to Adam Bell. Scott Moseley beat Joe Williamson 11, Ed Proudlove defeated Stephen Lediard 14, Spencer Clarke got past Ronan Allen 18, Scott Harries overcame Finn Roche 14, Andy Hughes won 13 versus Steve Morecroft and Adrian Rowe had a walkover, but all lost second round.
The winner was Nick Tideswell who beat Adam Bell 16 in the final.
