Our Juniors earned a runner-up spot in the 2022 Junior County Championship after beating Wales by 7 chalks. An away win of 14 was key to the victory, Wayd Pawlowski won 4 in the first four to add to Rhys Marshall’s 11 win at number one, meaning a lead of 9 there after the front. Joseph Pullen made his debut at number 6 and got a creditable 15, which were added to by two 15 winners in Cerys Marshall and Austin Wilson, so we led by 10 after eight games off there. Player of the match Camilla Parsonage then delivered a big card of 21-4 to seal the win there by 14. At home on St Geroges, and three winners in the front four meant a lead of 6 there. Just one winner, 21-20 by Jarrett Cotterill in the middle meant a 12 shot deficit going into the back four. Three winners at the back though meant 5 important chalks were gained and a 7 shot loss there was enough for a 7 shot win overall.
