Jamie & Sally King reached the Quarter Finals of the Mel Evans MBE Centenary Mixed Pairs. They defeated Kathleen Hadjinicolaou & David Parkinson 14 in their first game, then Sue Williamson & John Simpson 12 but lost out to Catherine Lockwood & Peter Hawkes 10. Late replacements Sarah Weaver & Dave Hanson won their first game versus Margaret Warbuton & John Coupe 19 but lost 20 to Marie & Paul Hallett in the 2nd round. Emma Duncan & Jamie Brookes lost to eventual winners Jordan Picken & Steve Davis 15 first game, while Amy Ryder & Mark Owen were defeated by runners-up Paula Firth & Alan Moore 13 first game.
