Paul narrowly loses out
Paul Williams lost out 20 in the 1st round of the BCGBA Jack & Jean Isherwood Veterans Championship. He lost to Vince Senior as Kerry Morris beat Steve Atkinson 18 in the final at Prees. Full results are here.

Good luck to Sir John Bayley and Woore playing in the BCGBA Club Championships tomorrow at Alkincoats. The Bayley take on Stretton Anglesey, Bradfield and Stile in their group, looking to progress to finals day on Sunday 27th April. Woore make the shorter trip to Windle and have Greville Arms, Birches Head and Whitkirk.

BCGBA Senior Individual Merit Spaces
The 2025 BCGBA Senior Individual Merit takes place on Saturday 26th July at Dodworth Miners Welfare in Barnsley at 10 a.m. We have three spaces this year due to lower numbers in last year’s Shropshire County Merit.
Castlefields lose out to Winners!
Castlefields lost first game today at the BCGBA World Club Championships to eventual winners Crossgates.
