The Shropshire Cup starts with five first round ties. Johnstown make their first ever appearance in this competition and play Mid Shropshire Division Two side Bridgnorth at Prince of Wales Hotel. Two other Division Two sides meet as Charlton meet Meole Brace on Hodnet. Wrockwardine Wood are former runners up and have Hodnet on Greenfields, while Bridgewater and Bowring promises to be a close game at Monkmoor. Newport won this in 2021 and face another Division one side in District on Bicton.
A reminder that £1 per player goes to the host club. All players must have played at least one game for that club in any league.
