The Shropshire Premier Bowling League won the Veterans Inter League for a second time after their Blue team beat NSVCGBA A in the final by 29, captain Mark Thomas the best winner 21-9.
In the Semi Finals they beat defending Champions Mid Shropshire A by 13 with 5 winners, Nick Davies best winner 8. NSVCGBA A beat their B counterparts by 5, captain Colleen Harding best winner 10.
The groups saw Premier League Blue win both their games, defeating Mid Shropshire A by 11 and Tanners A by 27. Mid Shropshire A came through as the best of the runners up courtesy of a 40 shot victory over Tanners A in their first game.
The other green at Bowring saw NSVCGBA A come through after they edged past Mid Shropshire B by 5, who had beaten Tanners Ladies by 15 first game, and then Tanners Ladies by 39.
At Wrockwardine Wood, NSVCGBA B recovered from losing their opening game against Premier League Yellow by 7 by beating Tanners B by 23 and Mid Shropshire C by 13, Mid Shropshire C having beaten Tanners B by 1 and Premier League Yellow by 17. The last game saw Premier League Yellow defeat Tanners B by 6.
