Shropshire have turned to their banker Newport for their opening clash against Lancashire on Sunday 3rd May at 2 p.m.
There are 4 changes, all enforced due to personal reasons, work or injuries. Andy Moss & Martin Lloyd have dropped down to reserve, while Spencer Clarke and Lee Peate are left out. In comes the returning Pete Farmer, Andy Armstrong and Tom Palmer, who make the switch from Wales and Warwick & Worcester, and Adam Jones comes back in after his fine form reaching two competition finals.
Lancashire have turned to one of their bankers in Garswood Hall, where they beat us by 39 in 2010, the year after we won the Crosfield Cup. We used Newport against them in 2015, winning by 80 on it. We have met since then in the 2022 Semi Final when they used the other green at Garswood Hall and we used Sinclair. We won home and away that day.
