1 – Rich Goddard – Castlefields and Shropshire legend. Full of experience, won every trophy possible with Castlefields multiple times and has an individual honours list to rival anybody in the midlands.
2 – Jon Palmer – Confirmed himself as one of the games leading players with another major success in winning June’s Isle of Man festival. A Previous Autumn Waterloo winner amongst other big titles and brings lots of big game experience.
3 – Michael Beer – Previous Champion of Champions and Talbot Trophy winner and is without doubt one of the most consistent players in the county. A brilliant player on his day and a player that we look to on the big occasion.
4- Wayne Rogers – Number 1 tractor driver in Salop! Brilliant player over a number of decades achieving individual successes at Meole Brace & Chadsmoor amongst others. Would love to add team successes to his CV.
5 – Callum Wraight – 2 Time All Britain winner, Champion of champions and Isle of Man winner but all come behind the most prestigious award on his mantelpiece of ‘Crook of the year’ for the 15th season running. What a player!
6 – Gary Neale – Does anybody want any goldfish!? Great addition to Castlefields when joining last season, has settled in nicely and is performing consistently well, week in week out.
7- Adam Jones – Enjoying a fine season. An instrumental part of the team who epitomises what Castlefields are about as a club. Castlefields through and through.
8- Russell Pugh – Premier Pugh! Ever present in this years cup run. Loves a cup final and has proved he can step up when being our stand out player in last years final.
9 – Andy Judson – BLOCKHEAD! Shows what a talented player he is by turning up once a week and having a high strike rate of wins. Lots of big game experience and will relish this evenings challenge.
10- Ash Wellings – Castlefields major winter signing is settling in well to the club. A super lad, who is now starting to show the form that has made him a Shropshire regular. Will relish the challenge of tonight’s game.
11- Tom Palmer – A very reliable number 1 for the best part of decade for a very successful W&W county side. Enjoying a good season for the fields, would rather have him in your bowls team than your quiz team!
12- Josh Hale – Four months since joining the club and has acquired 15 new nicknames (he was only ever known as FC prior to joining!). Superb addition to the club both on and off the green and has fitted in to the club fantastic since joining.
