Ian has been a regular performer in the Premier League for Wem USC, Archibald Worthington and now Chester Road, having his best season in 2019 when winning 15 games.
18. Scott Moseley
Club: Wrockwardine Wood
Qualification: Mel Jenkins 10 at Bridgewater No.1
Scott made his breakthrough this year when winning the County Handicap last month. A former Junior County winner in 2006, he has now settled at Wrockwardine Wood after starting at Meole Brace in the Premier League.
19. Martin Gaut
Club: St Georges
Qualification: Cedric Bancroft 5
Martin is a regular on the competition circuit now, having reached the final of the Meole Open in 2019. After starting out at Wrockwardine Wood, he has now established himself at St Georges via the Bowring.
20. Scott Harries
Club: Bylet
Qualification: Tom Roden 9 at Sinclair
Scott is another former player of Newport, although exclusively playing on the other green. He won the Premier League Averages here, as well as numerous Bowring Opens. He is now back where he started at Bylet, now captaining them.
21. Andy Marshall
Club: Wem USC
Qualification: Clay Flattley 20 & Will Childs 7
Andy played in the Junior County then moved onto play Premier League bowls at Ford, Bowring and Wrockwardine Wood before going back to Wem USC where he plays now.
22. Ian Gaut
Club: St Georges
Qualification: John Clarke 13 at Sinclair
Ian has been a consistent performer in the Premier League for nearly 30 years, firstly for Donnington Wood and then for St Georges. He has won the Premier League Merit, and recently won the Mid Shropshire Over 60s last month. Is a former Semi Finalist in this competition.
23. Steve Roberts
Club: Wrockwardine Wood
Qualification: Dan Taylor 16 & Chris Worthington 15 at Madeley CC
Steve was a key player at the Coddon before having to move to Wrockwardine Wood, where he made the step up to the Premier League and helped them win the league last season.
24. Jamie King
Club: Wrockwardine Wood
Qualification: Liam Stevens 16 & Stu Rutter 11
Jamie recently won the Newport Open on this green just last month, this after previously winning the Midland Masters among other titles. Has won the Premier League Averages at Wrockwardine Wood, after playing for St Georges, Hadley USC, Newport and Bowring previously.
