The Quarter Finals of the Senior Inter League take place with Old Shrewsbury and Donnington Wood hosting the four matches. At Old Shrewsbury, the two Whitchurch sides, A and B, take on Shropshire Ladies and Mid Shropshire A respectively. Whitchurch A are full of Premier League players, while Shropshire Ladies have Sally King as their number one, just a day after reaching the final of the Isle of Man Main June Competition. Mid Shropshire A feature Joe and Tom Killen, key players in our Junior side, with Whitchurch B having some Premier League players in their team also like Matt Beeston and Jamie Brookes. Over at Donnington Wood it’s the two Premier League sides that take part in the two matches, the Blue team taking on Mid Shropshire B and the White team playing Market Drayton. The blue side feature their reigning Merit Champion Scott Simpson, and their White side has a younger look with all players 30 or under, including their first woman Inter League player Cheryl Caswell. The Mid Shropshire B side features experience in Tony Roche at 1 and Les Mumford at 8, with Market Drayton also going for experience in players like Eddie Broad and George Edge.
