Our Juniors lost out to Yorkshire by 105 overall as Yorkshire proved they are a class above in the Juniors still. We had two winners in Yorkshire in a 64 shot loss, Luke Morris, on his birthday, winning 17, and Jarrett Cotterill 19, who won Player of the Match. Reserve Zoe Fenwick also got a creditable 16 considering she was a reserve at home! Selector Phil Scott explains “no reserves showed up away and they didn’t tell us. We fetched a home reserve in Zoe Fenwick who got 16 and showed her dedication to Shropshire, and our thanks go to the drivers show met halfway to bring her, Iain Wilson and Paul Fenwick.” We had four winners at home in a 41 chalk deficit, Tom Killen the best of them 11, winning Player of the Match.
We round off our fixtures against Wales on Sunday 10th July, a win will earn up second place in the group.
