Barlows Fire & Security Senior Merit Saturday Qualifiers Preview

The qualifying for the 2022 Barlows Fire & Security Senior Merit starts tonight as 24 players go for the 8 tickets available for finals day on Sunday 26th June. There are several top players at District and Joules bowling clubs. At District seems recent County Handicap winner Alan Purcell take part with his son Jack, while former winners Wayne Rogers and Charlie Weaver take part, as well as former runner-up Rich Lawson. Jamie King and Clay Flattley are also there, along with veterans Cedric Bancroft and Alan Boulton. Completing the field are Tim Jordan, Edward Proudlove and Josh Warner. At Joules is two more former winners in Martin Lloyd and Derek Wright, alongside former Staffordshire Merit winner Dan Taylor. There are some younger players looking to make their mark like Ben Hinton, Will Brookes and Matthew Beeston, while Scott Moseley has enjoyed a good start to the season as well as Gary Beff. Other players there are Jamie Brookes, Greg Fordham, Alex Hassall and Mel Jenkins.
