Shropshire will take on Staffordshire in the Crosfield Cup Semi Final on Sunday 6th August after beating Greater Manchester by 16 today. It wasn’t plain sailing though, three single figure losers at home were fortunately cancelled out by three single figure winners in a 16 shot win, led by Darren Wellings’ 6 win. The away team did well to win by one, Martin Gaut winning 8 at number 12 to avoid defeat there and potentially a close ending to the match.
