Our Senior County team have won their first game by 42 chalks. A big 68 chalk win on Newport with 11 winners was more than enough to cover a very good 26 shot loss on Atherstone Cons with 5 winners. Mike Beer was the best of three single figure winners on Newport, winning 21-4, while away it was Rich Goddard and Ash Wellings who were best winners 18, the former from 9-1 down.
We now take on Cheshire on Sunday 4th June, who beat Greater Manchester by 41 today, with the winner being in pole position to qualify from the group.
