The 2019 Midland Masters is being held at Prees Bowling Club as 10 of our players look to make green advantage count. Pete Farmer has won our Merit on these greens and has Phil Owen first game. Gary Beff has done well in competitions this season, and the North Shropshire qualifier has Darren Clews first up. Wayne Rogers is a former finalist in this and plays Mark Blackmore, while Andy Hughes is back playing in our county and has John Higgins. Jamie King has had an excellent season and the former quarter finalist has a tough opener against Ivan Smout. Stuart Rutter knows how to win big competitions and plays Danny Sillitoe, with Wayne Phillips taking on Dave Semper. Young gun Ash Wellings has done well in competitions this season and the former Prees player has Gordon Hawkins first game. Ade Jennings has Adam Jackson, and Roy Bradburn plays Matt Milsom.
The SCGBA would like to wish all our players the best of luck.
