KGJ Insurance County Cup Semi Final 2 Preview

Bylet meet St Georges tonight at Meole Brace no.2 at 6.30 p.m. with a place in the KGJ Insurance County Cup Final at stake. St Georges will start as favourites given their league position and cup pedigree. Captain Tony Rhodes says “what an open semi final. Too close to call as I believe they are so evenly matched as recent encounters with them have shown.” This is Bylet’s first Semi since 2007, and skipper Scott Harries says “me and the lads are certainly fired up for this one. It's not every day a County Cup Semi Final comes around, especially if you are us as our last appearance at this stage was 2007. We will leave everything on the line and hopefully our best is enough to reach our first ever County Cup Final and continue our path to history. We know on any given day that we can beat anybody, we proved that last round v the best side in Shropshire in my eyes Castlefields. We'll still be everyone's underdogs which I don't mind being at all. St Georges are going great in the league and have a lot of players that can hurt us but hopefully we will be up to the challenge, we are afraid of nobody. Hopefully there is a good crowd to watch a great game. All the best to the Dragons and may the best team on the night win.”
