Shropshire Juniors vs. Wales Preview

Shropshire Juniors take on Wales tomorrow looking for our second win in the group. We have chosen a new green in Hanmer, a green that is in Wales! After beating Warwick & Worcester in our first game, we came short against the Champions Yorkshire in our second, but selector Rich Lawson says "the game against Wales will be another tough game, but one the selectors feels is very winnable. We've opted for Hanmer as our home green, it's a fantastic green that has everything. And with the juniors putting in a lot of practice, hopefully we'll get a good home win and give the away side something to defend. There are two debutants coming into the away side, Macauley Parsons and Lucy Hireson." The senior team played at Hanmer last week, and Rich said "there was a very good crowd for the senior county game at Hanmer last weekend, so it would be good if we could get similar numbers round the green for this game cheering on the juniors." The away team play on Llandudno Oval, a green that is used regularly by the Welsh.

Live scores will be here.
