St Georges Open Day 3 & 4 Review
Shropshire didn't have any qualifiers on Day 3 and 4 of the St Georges Open, but had some lose in the qualifiers. Wayne Phillips of Hanwood lost 13 to Simon Coupe, while Paul Williams from Castlefields got 10 off Dean Missere. Tom Palmer got through after beating Dean Butler 7 in the qualifier. Simon Homer defeated Owen Jackson 13 to qualify, while Gareth Herbert got past Jamie Wyer 8. Paul Leah beat Mark Clayton 15, Paul Dale got past Phil Clinton 18 and Gareth Coates defeated Paul Stretton 14 to all qualify. Sunday saw Rob Carter qualify as he got past Tom Vickers 15 with the morning session dominated by Midland qualifiers with Ryan Prosser beating Matt Horton 19, Jordie Baddeley defeating Tom Boyd Jnr 9 and Adam Weaver getting past Daniel Nixon 20 in the qualifiers. Yorkshire dominated the afternoon as Graeme Wilson beat Darrell Handley 17, James Martin defeated Chris Mordue 15 and Chris' son Josh got past Carl Armitage 10. Nigel Egan was the other qualifier, beating Gareth Hughes 14. The full results and finals day draw is here.
