Sir John Bayley Player Profiles

Thank you to Josh Hale for producing these profiles.
  • Player profile #1
Tom Roden Considered a veteran of the Shropshire county team. Good player, with good craic. Does a brilliant Johnny Cash impression on a regular basis
  • Player profile #2
Elliot Mcguinness A multi comp winner out of county, is no mean feet. A cemented regular in the WW county side also. Could do chin ups off his Hampton
  • Player profile #3
Scott Simpson One of Staffordshire’s finest. Multi comp winner in and out of county. Recently started a new diet of mumping and cabbage.
  • Player profile #4
Kieran Buckley A relative newcomer to the game but has rapidly grown to be a Steady player in the premier league. If only his bowls could be as good as he looks.
  • Player profile #5
Ant Bracken Lord Warwickshire himself. A world name in the sport of crown green bowls. A Top draw player on it, just as good off it. 30 shot mouth off it. Very close competition between T, Tony Jacklin and Jack Badham of who’s been down more rabbit holes.
  • Player profile #6
Norman Harvey A stalwart of Shropshire bowls. Still a strong competitor in the premier league, the only question is what’s older him or his bowls. Regularly enjoys giving the bag a couple then making her make him a cup of Tea.
  • Player profile #7
Chris Worthington Aka pelcun. Not much history to tell, after spending most of his life at sea looking after choppers and the doldrums of Donnington Wood. He may not have much history but he’s looking to make some.
  • Player profile #8
Josh Hale A recent inclusion in the SJB team. A good player on his day. Struggles for consistency in Shropshire. Would rather be the worst winner ever then the best to never. Recent winner of the chilli sauce sideburn open. Language must improve.
  • Player profile #9
Alex Jones Come back after finishing his escapades trying to kill Harry Potter. One of Shropshire’s best, Christmas has come early for this SJB team
  • Player profile #10
John Potter AKA Johnny Smack. Back after a recent rehab excursion. A good steady player who will only improve. Needs to lay off the sauce and needles to continue his progression.
  • Player profile #11
Kane Beaman Colin would like me to point out he’s nothing to do with him, he said he’s seen his mother and he couldn’t drink that much. Good player, impressed many since coming up from the second team.
  • Player profile #12
Chris Ward Sir Chris as he is known. Class is only word to describe this man. Strugggled with his knee of late but will be galloping them in like red rum tonight.
  • Player profile #13
Gordon Hawkins Been a top draw player since he was knee high to a grasshopper, and he still is in both aspects. SJB will looking for a performance tonight, as he has done all season.
  • Player profile #14
Paul Evans Still one of staffs finest. Great player who SJB will hope can lead from the front. The only man who stills needs stairs in a bungalow.
