Junior Merit & Peter Ashton Youth Trophy Report & Pictures

Harry Church won his second consecutive Junior Merit at Whixall after edging out last year's Peter Ashton Youth Trophy winner Kieran Jones 21-20 in a thrilling final. Both players go through to the Junior Individual Merit finals at Netherseal on Saturday 18th August. Kieran had beaten Edward Proudlove 14 in the Semi Finals while Harry had defeated Harry Parsonage 4 as 28 entries took part, a big increase on last season.

14 players took part in the Peter Ashton Youth Trophy with Joe Killen coming out on top as he beat Rhys Marshall 9 in the final. Joe had got past Camilla Parsonage in the Semi Finals, while Rhys beat Jordan Millman 3.
