Reigning Champions too good for our Juniors

Yorkshire were far too good for our Juniors today as they defeated us by 90 overall. The reigning champions turned on the style at Donnington Wood, winning all 8 games after the first four, where we had three winners, Harry Church the best 14 with Susie Lawson winning our Player of the Match award with her 17 win, but lost by 57 overall. The away side did an excellent job away at Kirkheaton Cons as they lost by just 33 with 4 winners, the returning Kelly Price was best of those 4 winning 14. Attention now turns to their final two group games against Wales and Derbyshire, with two wins needed to guarantee them playing Premier Division bowls next season.
