Success in Fleetwood!

Shropshire had three winners at the Fleetwood Festival as Callum Wraight, Rich Lawson and Molly Harris all brought a trophy home. Callum retained his title he won last year beating Dave Gwilliam in the final 13 after beating Ashley Daykin 15 in the Semis and then the person he beat in the Final last year, Ian Nicholson, 12 in the Quarter Finals. Rich Lawson had also got to the Quarter Finals before losing to Robbie Ellis, but he made up for his disappointment by winning the Mixed Pairs with Jane Jones from Wales. Rich's daughter Susie reached the final of the under 16s but lost out to her Prince Hotel team mate Molly Harris in the final in a very successful competition for our Juniors. SCGBA would like to congratulate those four players for having a successful time in Fleetwood. Scores from the Men's Singles are below: Men’s Singles. Last 8: C. Wraight (Castlefields) 21 I.
