Club Accounts due by 31st May

Nearly a quarter of clubs affiliated to the Shropshire association could be in for a shock very soon. More than 30 clubs had not paid their annual county accounts by the weekend of May 14-15  – and if they don’t do it by the fast approaching deadline they will all be fined. County treasurer Brian Kitson said there would be no individual reminders issued and warned: “There are still around 30 clubs who have yet to pay. “They have until May 31 to do so – otherwise they will be fined £25.” And the county byelaws state that each week the account remains unpaid after the May 31 cut-off will result in further £25 fines.
