Brand new system for applications for BCGBA Membership cards
Click here for BCGBA Player Membership Application Form (2017) Click here for BCGBA Membership Application Form Notes This form must be used and posted to me with a cheque for the appropriate amount, every time you need to register a new player. You will note that there are two boxes on the form, asking if the card is to be sent to the Club Secretary, or direct to the player applying. In order that both the club and myself can exercise an element of control as to where cards are sent, I would prefer it if you would tick the box asking for the card to be sent to the Club Secretary, as has been the case in the past. I would stress that all the information asked for on the form, must be given when completing the form, especially your BCGBA club membership number. One other major change in the procedure, is that the card which will be issued by myself, following receipt of the completed application form and cheque for the appropriate amount, is that all players whether male or female playing in mixed gender leagues, will receive a standard card prefixed with the letters “SH” which denotes Shropshire. No separate ladies’ cards prefixed with the letters “LAD” will be issued in respect of lady applicants as in the past. This is with immediate effect. PLEASE NOTE: Applications for new membership cards for ladies who will be playing in “ladies only” leagues, should be sent to Pauline Wilson: Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Tel: 01746 766253/07746 224824 All the above information in respect of this new procedure, will also be posted on the SCGBA website. I’m sure that I can count on your co- operation in ensuring that the change to this new system is a smooth and seamless one, but please don’t hesitate to contact me if you are unsure about any aspect of this new procedure. Brian Kitson County Treasurer/Registrar, SCGBA Tel: 01743 367836 (H) Email: email@example.comThe BCGBA have introduced a totally new procedure for the 2017 season, in respect of the application for new BCGBA Player Registration cards by clubs on behalf of people who wish to take up the game of crown green bowling in Shropshire. Clubs will no longer be able to write to me on club headed paper as they have done in the past, and instead, will be required to download a bespoke application form, which asks for full details of the player applying especially his/her date of birth. A copy of this new form, along with a copy of guidance notes to assist you in completing the ethnicity and illness/disability parts of the form, is attached for your information.
