Junior Merit this Sunday!

The 2017 Shropshire Junior Merit is being held on Sunday at Meole Brace at 10 a.m. You can enter on the day and the entry fee is £3. Dress Code Applies, only black trousers can be worn. There will be a consolation event for the Peter Ashton Trophy on the No.2 green for all first game losers.

Jack & Jean Isherwood Veterans Qualifiers

Our two qualifiers for the Jack & Jean Isherwood Veterans Competition next Wednesday at Prees are Geoff Davies of Prince Hotel and John Nash from Meole Brace. Both came through the field at Monkmoor, Geoff beating Keith Owen to qualify and John beating Alan Boulton. There will be a full preview of them playing in the competition next Wednesday.

Callum wins Merit for third time!

Callum Wraight has won the 2017 Shropshire Senior Merit today for the third time beating Pete Bound in the final. Callum had beaten Colin Beaman 18 and Pete got past Glyn Herbert 18 in the Semi Finals. All four go forward to the Senior Individual Merit on Saturday 29th July at Nuneaton Griff.
